When you have depression it is often the case that you feel your heart ache, so heavily that if feels like it is weighing you down to the ground and making even the simplest of tasks hard to do, ‘your heart just isn’t in it’ like it used to be.

Science for a long period of time used to segregate the thought processes to just the brain and the heart had the simple function of pumping blood around your body but ancient Egyptians knew differently.

In this documentary scientists explore the relationship between the heart and the mind and how the two cannot be seperated when we think about our mental and emotional health as the heart has more power than you may realise. Hi folks! John Wilson is the founder of Battle of Mind and Seek A Therapy and a practising web and graphic designer.
