The power that resides in the struggle

Life Experience,Motivation,Video

Date : March 27, 2016Comments : 0

I wanted to share this video with you because I think it depicts very well my own journey of struggle, depression and how I needed to find something within me to move away from my home, 200 miles away as I knew the only person who could SERIOUSLY change my life lay in one person’s hands…me. Doctors, GPs, coaches and therapists can help you and guide you to a certain level but it ultimately up to YOU in taking control of your life and your destiny and having belief in yourself that you can change things. I hope you feel what I feel in this video and it helps you find your warrior, that you are worthy and that you can transform your life! I have included the words from the video in this blog below.

The power that resides in the struggle

Somebody said that life is like an onion, you have to peel it one layer at a time and sometimes…you cry.

Life’s going to happen to you when you have a dream. You gonna be slapped around and don’t take it personal. Don’t ask “Why did this have to happen to me!?”, it’s hard, easy is not an option. It’s hard living, life is hard. It’s hard when you are 49 years old and working on a job for 17 years and they come in and tell you, “you’re finished” and you have one week severance pay and you have to start all over again.

It’s hard when you are married and raising children and your children are crawling and your husband dies, unexpectedly. It’s hard just handling the tragedies of life. It’s hard when you are working on something and you put everything you have into it and it doesn’t work and you loose your money and other people’s money, it’s hard.

That’s rough.

How people look at you, how they respond to you, it’s very hard, it’s humiliating, here is what I discovered that happens to your life that you will go through things and while you’re going through them you can’t understand why it’s happened to you but after you go through it, you get back to it and you say “Oh! Now I understand why I needed that lesson”.

I couldn’t understand it then but after I got through it, then I saw that was what prepared me for bigger and better things.

One of the reasons why we have to continue to work on ourselves and surround ourselves with quality people is because you have a lot of failures, you have a lot of disappointments. That most people go so far in life and then…they pock, they stop dead in their tracks. Why? Because they take some hits!

When you have a goal and dream thinking that it is not strange that you will face the fiery furnace in this world.

What’s your dream? What is it you wanna do with your life?

What is your goal?

What is your vision?

I want you to hold it in your mind. It’s a power in that.

Create what you want. You have the power to do more than you could ever begin to imagine, to control your destiny, to make a difference in our children, to make a difference on the planet, to make an impact.

This is not gonna be IT for my life, I deserve more than this!

See, that will start making you do some stuff. See, a lot of people go to work every day miserable and all they do is just talk about how miserable they are but they don’t do anything about it.

You gotta have that kinda courage, that kind of determination if you wanna make it happen is you, but you gotta take personal responsibility to make it happen. That you have got to own what it is.

So every time something got hard, you quit, you call mama. I dare you to take a little pain…I dare you. I dare you not to go home.

Somebody said, I got to go home, I feel bad. Go through it. You ain’t gonna die, at the end of pain is success. You not gonna die because you feel a little bit of pain.

I’m not eating like I eat at home. That’s why you about to go to the next level because if you eat like you eat at home you keep being a boy or a girl. It’s time to become a man or woman.

To get those dreams out of your head and step into your greatness, you gotta be hungry, to get those ideas, that talent, that gift out of your system, you gotta be hungry. To get up off the canvas of life and understand what Willy Jolly meant that a setback is a setup for combat, you gotta be hungry. people that are hungry are unstoppable, people that are hungry are ‘no matter what people’ they make it happen no matter what.

Greatness is not this wonderful, esoteric, elusive , god-like feature that only the special among us will ever taste, you know, it is in all of us. It’s very simple.

This is what I believe and I’m willing to die for it. Period.

If someone can make that dream become a reality that it’s possible, that you can make your dream become reality.

And so, as you begin to look at where you wanna go, beginning to embrace that, it’s possible. I’m blessed, I’m highly favored, I’ve got a lot going for me, I’ve got some good stuff in me and it’s possible that I can bring my greatness out here in the universe, that I can do what I want to do, it’s possible. I can write my own book I can have my own business, I can take the trip and travel around the world, its possible! I can bounce back from adversity and reinvent my life, its possible, regardless of where I am that things, can get better for me, it’s possible!

It’s possible for you to live your dream, it’s necessary that you associate with winners, that you work your system, that you are relentless, that you never give up. It’s you, you gotta take personal responsibility, you got to make it your personal business to make it happen and you got to reside within yourself that I can do this, that it’s hard, but you gotta say I’m the one. I’m the one to make this happen, I’m the one to become successful. Don’t let nobody steal your dream. I used to ask myself, can I do this? And something said within me, you’re the one.

If you wanna make your dream become reality, the people that are running at the dreams know that it’s possible that you can live your dream. That it’s necessary that you live , that you have a plan of action, that you are creating. The people that are living that dream are planning winners, to attache themselves to, the people that are living their dreams are the people that know that if it’s gonna happen it is up to them, and are saying to themselves, it’s not over until I win.

The people that are running after their dreams know that they need to keep on running because they say to themselves “I’m the one, I’m the one. No matter how bad it is or how bad it gets, I’m going to make it!”

No matter how bad it is or how bad it gets, I’m going to make it! It’s very important for you to believe that you are the one to make this happen.

Your dream is possible!

Nobody believes in you, you’ve lost again and again and again. The lights are cut off, but you still looking at your dream reviewing it every day and saying to yourself, it’s not over until I win!
